Today is our 2nd anniversary, Landon leaves the house pretty early but he came down to say goodbye and left me a nice surprise. When Thatcher and I finally got up the roses and card are what we woke up to on the night stand. I married a sweet, sweet man. Two down and an eternity to go, how blessed we are. I love you babe!

Salamander

Landon found a salamander under a tarp in the back yard. The kids all thought is was soooo cool. He put it in grammies fish pond in the front yard. After basking in the sun on a rock for a few seconds, can you really bask for a few seconds? Anyway after those few seconds he swam to the bottom and may just end up calling the place home. Hope he likes his roommates. 10 gold fish!

Happy 1st Fathers Day

Landon doesn't need to be told that he is a great daddy, but for the sake of the holiday we will indulge him. He loves to play with his son, loves to make him laugh, Daddies "little man" always has a smile for him.
Landon is a wonderful dad, he is always willing to help me out no matter the task, even dipper changing and I'm sure he would get up more in the night too but he just doesn't hear anything...lucky dog! We are both adjusting to parenthood and loving every minute of it and the minutes go by way to fast.

Swimming Fun!

As you have probably figured out this web sight is mostly about Thatcher with little bits of his parents strewn through it. Thatcher went swimming with dad and his cousins on Saturday. It's not quite like bath time and so he is a little unsure what he is suppose to do. Having fun is always on the menu.

The Rocket!

My cousin Arizona who is in 5th grade named her rocket after me. Meet the "Thatcher J.L." They shot them off last week...Blast off!!!

Ok, cute story. I was showing the rocket launch pictures to my 4 year old niece Tacey and after I explained that they shot them off she said "Are they trying to shoot Heavenly Father?"

Uncle Brents Harley Gang

Uncle Brent Came to visit with his Dental buddies from Canada, Scott, Bret & Brad. After about 11 days on the road from various places like Idaho, Utah and Yosemite national forest in northern Caly, they arrived here for some R & R before heading back to the land of the maple leaf. Thatcher was more interested in the shinny chrome than the camera...vroom vroom!

a balancing act

Daddy and Thatcher have been working on this, it started with sitting on dads hands and now he's strong enough to stand. He takes after me. Not that i stand on Landon's hands and balance, daddy is strong but not that strong, just that I also was able to do this as a baby. Landon could not.

Riding the Pony

Nana and Grandpa Lybbert went and bought a pony. So there is always another thing to look forward to when we go and visit. Thatcher is still learning balance but pretty soon he'll be rock'en away all by himself! Thanks Nana & Grandpa.

The Sitting up is a new thing and very unstable, i was lucky to catch this before he fell back words.



I Don't know that he really liked them but he better get use to it, this is the flavor of the month.







He has many toys to play with, he looses interest quickly so mom moves him around quite a lot. Mostly he hangs out with mom...I'm so lucky!

Thatcher is now five months old.


A week and a half ago he had his first hair cut, yesterday he ate food(in the form of sweet potatoes) for the first time and he is sitting up. Oh my baby is growing up and looking so much like a little boy. He is such a delight to have around and almost always has a smile for you. He loves grabbing his feet to hang on to(always challenging during dipper changes) or just enjoys sucking on his toes...yuck!

Hello all,

I'm jumping on the blogger band wagon, although my feet are still dragging in the dirt and I'm really just hanging on with my arms.

All that know me will realize that updating may take months but at least you will know what was going on in our lives. Maybe I can try and get Landon to help.
