Well Hello

Doesn't it always seem like we are playing catch up? Well, that's probably because we are, at least the 95% of us that are not perfect and organized and we all know someone in that 5%. Who knows they may have flaws but they sure don't let us see them; therefor are only option is to plop them into that untouchable category of perfection, the one we will never reach. I'm ok with this, I envy them when I look around at my cluttered mess and think, "where do I begin" but I also know I am obviously ok with walking away or leaving the house in a state of chaos. Where as that 5%, they just can't leave it alone until it's done, therefor always cleaning, always picking up etc etc. Ok your thinking but I'm in the 95% and I'm doing that too always cleaning always picking up but at least we can let things go sometimes, like leave the dishes in the sink overnight or the toys out allover the playroom or the laundry unfolded, you get the idea. At least our homes look lived in and are warm and inviting, not the "kids don't touch anything" and you check your pants before you sit down because your afraid to get their couch dirty.

Wow, don't know where that came from I was just going to intro that I'm always a behind blogger and was going to post a few things of summer and stuff...crazy lady!!!
Well bummer I can't get my pictures to up-lode so I'll just have to type and try later, see blogging can be so frustrating and feel like a waist of time.

Little sis turned one in June and started walking about a month before. We celebrated with her cousin and she got her first goose egg on her forehead from a face plant into a paver-stone at the bottom a a very fast slide.





In July we moved and then left for our family reunion in southern Idaho. We drove all night and into the early morning then dad and a few of the uncles, aunts and cousin left for yellow stone to ride horses among the buffalo, had a blast but were ready for bed. We had such a fun time playing with new cousins, fishing, swimming, water balloons, roasting marshmallows, shooting groundhogs, playing horseshoes and eating a giant ice cream sunday we look forward to the next one in two years.












At the end of the month with pass ports in hand we headed to Cardston Alberta Canada for another very extended family reunion, meeting daddy's cousins for the first time. It was fun getting a horse drawn wagon ride around town, jumping on the bouncy toy, riding a wooden horse and learning to lasso, eating homemade sherbet and pull candy, watching a horse being shod and lots of entertainment by talented cousins while we ate and ate and ate. We also learned a lot of fun story's of Lybbert ancestors. On our way home we drove through the beautiful and majestic Glacier National Park, we need to do that again and stay for a few days, it was awesome!!!!












The following weekend the kids and I went with Paca down to Pocatello Idaho for a suprise party for my great uncle, so again another family reunion only just for an afternoon. It was really nice seeing a lot of my extended cousins that I don't get to see near enough while we celebrated the wonderful lives of Jack and Blanch Davis, I think it was his 90th and he's still working as an orthodontist...that is a hard working man! The highlight for the kids was the ginormous slip n' slide.




We had a very busy summer and it just kept going, we were able to go to Silver-wood with great grandma Helen. That is our local amusement park and introduce T to rides. He was scared at first but relaxed a little bit more as the day went on, he did pretty good and little sisen road her first roller coaster as well, a very small one. We were in the kids area all day, height limitations, plus I don't think T was ready for the big rides anyway, maybe next year.



Then of course the end of summer ended with the Kootenai county fair and lots of making of elephant ears, always a blast, we love it!
